The basics Aside from normal, blue water, there is also black water. The black water is the hunting ground of a sentient being called the Black Entity. The entity prowls the black water, searching for food to feed its hunger. The black water is part of the entity, as an extension of its body and as a hunting ground. The entity consumes victim by the means of the black water—thus henceforward referred to as black water—by consuming their life and body, leaving behind a bony version of the victim it consumed, as well as the soul which turns into a ghost.
